The organic geochemistry technical platform
The organic geochemistry technical platform:
♦ is part of the RéGEF network,
♦ is in the process of being labeled Infra + via the ANATELo platform,
♦ participates in research conducted within the GISFI (Scientific Interest Group for the Reclassification of Degraded Territories) and the ZAM (Zone Atelier de Moselle).
The organic geochemistry technical platform possesses and develops the equipment and methods necessary for the molecular characterization of natural and anthropogenic organic matter in different matrices (water, gas, rock, soil, sediment, oil, etc.). The use of chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments allows for the measurement of targeted molecules. The platform’s expertise and know-how enable the study of the evolution and reactivity of organic matter in geological and environmental contexts.
Experimental implementation and the development of links between experimentation and analysis help to further our understanding of the reaction processes of organic matter.
Please note: the platform is jointly managed with the LIEC (Interdisciplinary Laboratory and Continental Environments).
