Georessources’ software
/
As part of the numerical modeling technical platform, the GeoresSources laboratory has developed software that allows researchers to model their data.
Below is a list of these software:
See the list of GeoRessources' software
♦ ConnectO: ConnectO is a plug-in for the Skua-Gocad software that allows users to simulate piped systems and analyze the quality of categorical implementation.
♦ FAIStokes: The FAIStokes (Finite Element Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian Implementation of Stokes) software was developed to perform mechanical simulations of the subsurface, considering rocks as highly viscous fluids.
♦ FaultMod2: FaultMod2 is a Skua-Gocad plug-in for modeling faults, fault networks, and associated uncertainties.
♦ FEniCS: Finite Element PDE solver
♦ Homog3D: This code calculates the smooth equivalent medium of any geological (meshed) model for the elastic wave equation. The scaling method underlying the code is non-periodic homogenization.
♦ Karstnet: Karstnet is an open-source Python3 project that provides tools for the statistical analysis of karst networks.
♦ KarstNSim: KarstNSim is a code dedicated to the simulation of discrete karst networks. There are two versions:
- a stand-alone open-source version available on Github called KarstNSim_Public,
- and a Skua-GocadV19 plugin, allowing you to work with a 3D graphical interface.
♦ Lumos: LUMOS is a triangular and tetrahedral remeshing library that aims to enable the robust insertion of implicit geological surfaces into existing geological models.
♦ Mathematica: symbolic computation
♦ OM-MADE: OM-MADE is an open-source program written in Python3. It is designed to simulate one-dimensional transport of solutes in multiple exchange conduits and storage zones.
♦ Petrel: geological modeling
♦ Plaxis-2D: finite element mechanical simulation
♦ Plaxis-3D: finite element mechanical simulation
♦ RegSEM: 3D simulation of seismic wave propagation at the continental or local scale
♦ RINGFlow: RINGFlow is a control volume/finite element library for simulating flow in fractured porous media on unstructured grids.
♦ SCAROpen: SCAROpen's main function is to repair or simplify a 2D geomodel (e.g., cross sections or maps).
♦ SmoothQuad: SmoothQuad is a C++/Python library that aims to mesh smooth anisotropic media in 2D for spectral element simulation of elastic wave propagation.
♦ SKUA-GOCAD: geological modeling
♦ SpecFEM2D: seismic wave propagation simulation
♦ WeCo: WeCo is a C++ and Python library that allows you to find several sets of possible correlations between several wells.
