ANR – Earth-Beat Project
ANR Project Descriptions – Earth-Beat
Failed geothermal reservoirs and hydrothermal ore deposits have similar characteristics in terms of fluid circulation, in connection with fault-valve mechanisms (sudden and cyclical increases in fluid flow and temperature). The Earth-Beat Project aims to determine theRelative importance of geological structures, fluid thermodynamics and regional stress status in this process fromgeological observations, dlaboratory experiments and numerical modeling. he sUses several approaches to thermo-hydro-mechanical (THM) and reactive transport modeling carried out from theScale of the fault gouge and the damaged area upat ldeposit scale.
