The hydrothermal experimentation technical platform is labeled:

♦ and within the Carnot ICEEL network.

The hydrothermal experimentation technical platform is used to study phase reactivity and stability in fluid-mineral-solution-gas-organic systems.

This technical platform can be used for example to study:
♦ the aging of rocks and materials,
♦ crystal growth and dissolution,
♦ the Phase balances.
♦ Genesis of oil by artificial maturation of the mother rocks,
♦ gas measurement in an underground pocket,
♦ Rock monitoring in the context of radioactive waste storage (partial hydrogen pressure),
♦ storage of C02 or Lhydrogen in the basement,

Note: the platform has developed a unique in situ gas measurement device at great depths.
