Summary

The reservoir petrophysics technical platform
The reservoir petrophysics technical platform aims at characterizing in the laboratory:
♦ the porosities by gas saturation, by water, mercury and NMR,
♦ the apparent densities and solid phases,
♦ the elastic properties VP, VS and sclerometer, and electrical (connectivity and chargeability),
♦ and the fluid transfer properties (permeability, capillarity) and heat (conductivity and thermal diffusivity).
As an instrumentation, it has petrophysical tools, and subsurface geophysics. (See below the list of platform equipments).
Objective: Study the primary resource reservoirs for hydrocarbons, geothermal and co-products (h, he, li) and C02 storage, green hydrogen, heat, compressed air.
Note: the data collected is stored in the database petrophysics.

Technical expertises
What expertises does the reservoir petrophysics technical platform have?
♦ Porosity measurements by water and helium saturation, mercury injection access, and NMR
♦ Density measurements by helium pycnometry and triple weighing
♦ Measurements of fluid and heat transfer and storage properties
♦ Measurements of P- and S-wave propagation velocities
♦ Determination of mineralogical compositions by thin section analysis, gamma-ray spectroscopy, and magnetic susceptibility
♦ 2D and 3D electrical resistivity tomography, 2D seismic, 2D radar
♦ Magnetic mapping
♦ Lidar measurements
See all the expertises of Georessources in THMC experimentation (thermal, hydrological, mechanical and chemical).
