REPORTAGE CNRS – Lorraine : hydrogen under our feet !

The CNRS highlights, through this new report, the current research on the hydrogen natural Lorraine, a resource that is still emerging in the potential energy major.

These works, carried out in the framework of the collaborative program REGALOR II, mobilized, including the teams of the laboratory GeoRessources (University of Lorraine / CNRS), involved in the understanding of the mechanisms of formation, characterization, and evaluation of this resource in the basement.

The project combines several academic and industrial players, and the report gives the floor to researchers of GeoRessources directly involved in this work, in particular Odile Barres , Jacques Pironon and Philippe De Donato, at the origin of major discoveries on the hydrogen natural Lorraine.
