ANR – BATNAP Project

ANR Project Descriptions – BATNAP

The objective of the BATNAP Project is:
to better understand the impact of ground water beats on the release mechanisms of hydrocarbons in a context of climate change (extreme events),
to assess and compare the capacity of different methods / tools for monitoring / characterizing the distribution of LNAPL in soils (piezometers vs geophysical measurements and in situ sensors),
to identify changes in terms of diversity andactivity of microorganisms (in the soil and thewater) and their influence on both the geophysical signal and the fate of the contaminant (natural attenuation).
