ANR – BATNAP Project
ANR Project Descriptions – BATNAP
The objective of the BATNAP Project is:
♦ to better understand the impact of ground water beats on the release mechanisms of hydrocarbons in a context of climate change (extreme events),
♦ to assess and compare the capacity of different methods / tools for monitoring / characterizing the distribution of LNAPL in soils (piezometers vs geophysical measurements and in situ sensors),
♦ to identify changes in terms of diversity andactivity of microorganisms (in the soil and thewater) and their influence on both the geophysical signal and the fate of the contaminant (natural attenuation).
