Grand Est Final – Three Minute Thesis: GeoRessources back on stage
Following a successful performance in the local final at the University of Lorraine, the Three Minute Thesis (MT180) competition continued at the regional level, bringing together the top candidates from across the Grand Est region.
GeoRessources was represented by Valentine Charvet, who presented her research with clarity and commitment in front of a new jury and a broader audience.
This regional final is a demanding stage of the competition, where PhD candidates must meet a significant challenge: making complex scientific research accessible in just three minutes, while capturing the audience’s attention.
We warmly congratulate all participants for the quality of their presentations, their dedication, and their ability to share science with a wider audience.
This edition saw Jean Pauly awarded the Grand Est Jury Prize, recognizing an outstanding performance.
A key experience in science communication
Taking part in MT180 also means developing essential skills in science communication: simplifying complex ideas, synthesizing information, and speaking in public—valuable assets for early-career researchers.
For GeoRessources, this participation fully reflects its commitment to promoting research and enhancing its visibility among diverse audiences.
