INTERREG VI – CIRKLA project

Explanations of the Project CIRKLA

As a result of the European Green Deal, the Greater Region, with its strong steel industry, aims to become a model for the circular economy of metals and geo-sourced materials. The CIRKLA project brings together civil, educational, scientific, and industrial stakeholders around three axes:
society (education, exhibitions, training),
territory (cross-border solutions for processing, extraction and recycling),
and innovation (knowledge center, shared data, technology incubators).

This research project goes beyond the exchange of best practices; it also combines regional expertise to tackle a challenge that transcends local boundaries.
