The laboratory GeoRessources (Université de Lorraine – CNRS), in partnership with Andra, offers a phd thesis (contract doctoral Andra) on the Experimental characterization and numerical modeling of the anisotropic hydraulic and THM properties of the Callovo-Oxfordian claystone, in the framework of the project Cigéo.
This PhD project will combine laboratory experiments (triaxial testing, hydro-mechanical and thermal tests) with numerical modeling (COMSOL) to enhance parameter identification and reduce uncertainties related to the coupled THM properties of anisotropic claystone.
